Everyone needs to feel connected and included. At Maroondah City Church we want you to feel that you belong and are able to build relationships and develop lasting friendships.

We believe that people have a greater opportunity to grow and change when they are in safe relationships centered on faith in Christ. An Impact Group is a safe place to share your life with others, giving you the opportunity to:

• Share your faith in Christ. Impact Groups are a place for those who love Christ and enjoy studying the Bible to meet and share their faith.
• Be a part of a team. The success of an Impact Group depends on everyone being involved in the giving of their time, a willingness to share and support each other. Strong and committed friendships are developed within Impact Groups.
• Grow stronger in Christ. An Impact Group provides an opportunity for you to develop relationships with others that steer you towards a greater knowledge of who Jesus is, and to be personally changed as you allow Jesus to minister to your needs.
• Impact your community. Impact Groups at Maroondah City Church are encouraged to be involved in serving in the local community. Impact groups are actively involved in soup kitchens, nursing homes and hospital visitations and various community activities.
• Care for others. When the issues of life are all consuming Impact Group members provide friendship, prayer, support and comfort to one another.
