Maroondah City Church regularly offers training for church volunteers who minister in nursing homes, or who are interested in participating in this ministry. Support Group volunteers may facilitate groups in nursing homes as well as visiting indivduals.

The information course covers the following areas; duty of care, communication skills, and boundaries.

The next course at Maroondah City Church will be held on July 31, from 10am-3pm. Our guest speakers will be Senator Concetta Fierravanti-Wells, Shadow Minister for Ageing, and Emil Neven, Pastoral Care & Chaplaincy Coordinator Monash Medical Centre.
